Hilton Garden Inn, get ready for a repeat
performance.
For those who missed both or
either one, mark your calendars now for a
great get-together with fellow members
and guests,networking and enjoying an
abundance of wonderful appetizers. Both
events will be outdoors, The Barrel Room
on their patio, Tuesday, March 18th,
from 5:30pm until 7:00pm
and the
Hilton Garden Inn in the courtyard,
Tuesday, April 15th, also from 5:30pm -7:00pm. These will be wonderful
events, so bring a guest. For reservations please email Mary by clicking here
or you can call her at 858-385-3406 and, as always, the first drink is on the
Rancho Bernardo Business Association.

If your company would like to donate a door prize at either or both of
these receptions, or if you would like a business booth
to display your
wares, please call Mary at 858-385-3406 or email her by clicking here. The
business booth is $25. A brochure table will also be available, so be sure to
bring a supply of your brochures or flyers for potential customers.

Thanks to "Mr. Marketing" Rob Weinberg for his outstanding presentation
on producing inexpensive eNewsletters.
Rob was enlightening and
lighthearted at the same time. Those in his audience
enjoyed a delicious luncheon of grilled steak skewers or
pecan crusted chicken at the beautiful Bernardo Heights
Country Club. All in all, it was a fulfilling afternoon of
food and marketing information. To visit the photo album
of the luncheon click here. If you would like to contact
Rob for marketing information, you can reach him at
858-673-9960 or email him by clicking here. You can
also visit his web site for more information.

Rob has over 25 years of creating unique marketing
solutions and profitable results for a wide range of clientele. He spent
almost 10 years as the principal of the New York City advertising agency
MarketBuilding Team.

He has written two books on marketing titled "Removing the Mystery from
Marketing" and "Streetwise Internet Business Plan". He provides free marketing
advice through his weekly newspaper column in the Pomerado newspaper
chain entitled “Ask Mr. Marketing”.

An Historic Moment: The Rancho Bernardo Historical Society broke ground
for their new building on the grounds of the Bernardo Winery, Saturday,
February 9th. Over 200 people attended and many members of the RBBA
were present in the crowd. There is still $66,000 to raise and we encourage
all of our members to either beome RB Historical Society members for as little
as $25 a year and/or donate to the construction of the building through a
number of opportunities such as commemorative engraved bricks.

Don't miss the society's next two fundraising events. Mark your calendars
for their pancake breakfast on Saturday, May 24th, and the Second Annual
Twilight Concert on the Green, Saturday, August 16th.

More information about the historical society is available on their web site or
you can call them at 858-487-5088.
